History of Profiteroles
Profiterole, a taste that dates back hundreds of years and has unshareable ownership, is a dessert that has led to a sweet competition between France and Italy, as it was prepared by an Italian chef in the French palace. The story of the profiterole can be summarized as follows:
In the 16th century, the French King Henry II married Catherine de Medici, the daughter of one of the wealthiest Italian families, the Medici family. Catherine brought her chef, Panterelli, with her from Florence to France. Panterelli worked in the French palace kitchen for seven years and developed the technique of making hot pastry there. From the 16th century to the 18th century, the empty profiterole dough met cream thanks to Marie-Antoinette Careme. This deep-rooted flavor, which became famous beyond the country’s borders, has been produced for years in our country by Misbaşak with its unique production and presentation style for you, our esteemed guests.
Sensational Choux Pastry Profiterole Recipe
First-class flour, carefully prepared choux pastry dough using high-quality ingredients such as flour, eggs, and oil, is meticulously poured by machines without any hand contact, then baked in the oven until the inside is soft and the outside is crispy, creating delightful pastry balls. Next, it’s time for the special cream that will fill the soft pastry balls with flavor. Made with exquisite white chocolate, the cream is placed inside the soft pastry balls after it cools. Now it’s time to enhance the flavor of the pastry balls with the profiterole sauce. Delicious sauce, prepared with a special recipe of various Belgian chocolate varieties and Misbaşak, is combined with the pastry balls. Finally, it is prepared for presentation by adding pistachio dragees inside and chocolate pieces on top.
We highly recommend that you try this flavor when your path crosses with Misbaşak; we are confident that Misbaşak profiterole will leave an unforgettable taste in your mouth…
